Propane Inection?!

Have many of you heard or more particularly tried this? I have heard a few people mention it a read a post somewhere that briefly talked about it.
What is the latest and is this something that is being sold as a kit or a build it yourself system?
Is this meant to be a safer nitrous replacement? How does the computer handle the extra fuel?
What is the rate that people are dumping it into the motor? I have about a million questions on this topic but will limit myself until I learn more.

I _think_ that only pertains to diesels. I know that it is a popular mod for the PowerStroke, Duramax and Cummins-running crowd.
