  • 03 Cobra wheels

I am new to this forum. I am getting a 84 Svo tomorrow. I have a set of SVT Chrome wheels off the 2003 Cobra that I just traded in. Can someone tell if these wheels will fit on the 84 Svo.

    Cheers

    Fit on mine.....

....you'll see in the lounge under "I feel like a new pappa"-the '03 Racing wheels right?.....had to grind down my front sway on the drivers side & adjust up my coilovers, but at stock height you might be okay....they are 9.5" wide, so make sure you use a good tire that don't flex too much.....

George, but didn't you have to do the SN95 swap up front? Did you keep the SVO axles out back or use Fox length axles?

Idareu, they will fit but not with the stock components. It takes quite a bit of work to get them to fit.

Please tell what kind of work I would need to due. I have no problem with the stock SVO wheels, I just thought it might make the car look good.

got the same wheels.. My car for some reason has v8 springs and v8 struts and shocks with no quads..... Cant I just send the wheel to a machine shop and have them open up the center hub a little? I remember putting mustang hweels on a ranger AKA same front hub and it jjsut took a little grinding and they fit...

I have 10th annys with stock rear springs, Koni sport shocks, and Koni quads still there.

No problem with clearance on the quads, but I had to roll the fender lips, and still have a bit of rub.

Go with 05 up wheels, it's a hell of a lot easier.

Once a person does the front SN95, the SVO wheels (as well as the 10th Anni's) can be used w/o any outward difference? Or will there be a back spacing difference to be made up with the SVO wheels?

Actually, the SN95 conversion (which I have with MM arms) doesn't really change the backspacing needs on an SVO.

10th Annys are still wrong. The 05 up wheels seem to be a better fit than most of the SN95 wheels.

How does a person get the 10th Anni's to fit the front end W/O rolling the
fender edges? This is for my Silver metallic clearcoat RN'd 82 GT which has the complete suspension of an 86 SVO. The exterior would finally look complete with the wheels.....then it's on to other less seen details.
