  • Annoying Seat Belt Buzzer

Is there a simple fix to turn off that annoying buzzer when your seat belts aint plugged in at start up?
I've lived with this noise for 20 years and I am tired of it. Help!

Un-plug it!!! I did. Been a while but if I remember correctly it is mounted in the fuse block, or in that general vicinity.

Now that Kiwi mentions it, it may be in the area of the glove box. At any rate it does just un-plug.

          Chris,

You will need to remove the glove box then you can reach up and feel for the one that is buzzing with key on and the doors open. Unplug it and your done.

            I wonder if...

Does anyone think the chime of the 87-93 mustangs is a little more soft and soothing than our loud annoying buzzer? Couldn't we swap in the chime from a newer old fox or is this and integrated chime build into the BCM like ford does nowadays? Do... you guys not like this idea?
