  • Quarter panel molding

Does Ford still sell the rear quarter panel molding? You know the big thick rubber pieces.

I know they dont sell the skinny stuff.

    Thanks!
Hoping to get on the track soon

I don't want to get yours or anybody elses hopes up BUT... I might be getting my hands on some NOS trim tomorrow. My new contact had several sets at one time in the recent past and said he might have some more but wasn't sure... I'll be back asap tomorrow either way. I do have at least one used piece from Tony's car / leftover parts. Not sure which side at the moment. I also came up with a 4" wide roll of the 3M VHB PSA ( Very high bond pressure sensitive adhesive ) from the sales sample shelf at work. I could possibly fix / rework the used piece.

      Keep me in mind...

I'm in need for my daily driver.

I'm getting a quarter panel next week from a local guy. I picked up a really nice bumber from the pick-a-part today.
      Just need the trim.

NOS would be great, or really nice used with some of that adheasive would do as well.

      I need the drivers side.
Hoping to get on the track soon

Vince, Ken has the driver side off Tony's car. I know because I snagged the passenger side when I visited Tony. They were in very nice shape.

I'll dig it out for you as it's buried in with all the stuff. When I visited Mathis Motorsports today the only trim he had left were both door pieces that were molded in red for the GT-350 anniversary cars. Both pieces were slightly bent / bowed but probably could be fixed.

Ken, I need that red door trim for the GT-350! Can you get it for me and how much will it cost me?

              Ken
I'd love a new pair of those thick rubber rear trim pieces. Recent "fix" at a body shop included a re-paint of the gray "stripe" on the rear bumper and they went ahead and did me the favor of "matching" the color on those rubber blocks. Wrong gray to boot!
              Definite purchase here!

I hope to go back up there possibly next weekend with my NEW DIGITAL CAMERA ( and Ken enters the 21st century! ) I'll see what he wants for the red trim and see how many of the rear thick bumper extension pieces I might be able to salvage. I'll also take pics of the very sad 4 SVO's he has on his property. I'll have to post a warning before viewing the pics... as it's kinda depressing.
