  • Bottom SVO spoiler

    Hi Gang,

I have looked but I can't find this question anywhere. Can you use the spoiler off of a GT or LX (or basically any 84 - 93 mustang) for the bottom spoiler on an 86 SVO? Is there a good place to buy a new one? I see them on Ebay all the time, but I don't know if they will fit. Thanks for the help.....

Nope, it's SVO specific. It mates to the upper spoiler so they're flush with each other.

You could use a regular lower if you want your car to look like a comp. prep. Otherwise, see above.

That would be a spoiler delete, not comp prep, comp preps in generaly came with byplane spoiler unless ordered without it.

Ok Majestic, you lost me..."If you want your car to look like a Comp Prep". My Comp Prep, as well as all other Comp Preps I have seen, have normal wings just like any other SVO, Now Maybe a "Bi wing delete" would be what you meant... WOW, Has anyone ever seen a bi wing delete Comp Prep? That would have to be WAY rare!!!! Ok,Ok,Ok I need to stop pondering these things, I have way too much time on my hands...back to work!

              Thanks guys,

Is it possible to cut the corners flush from a GT or LX spoiler to make it mate up with the bi-wing?

It went obsolete a looong time ago. I have one available in my parts stash. How about $50 plus shipping charges?

Will it fit an 86, nothing broken or chipped, and hasn't been painted another color? Any pics? If so, you have a deal.
