My wife's Sable LS has a single visor on each side. It must be a "Bi-Wing delete" interior (hehe), but may be more easy to mount. At least the visor clip engineers at Ford finally discovered how gravity affects visor floppage since 1985.

I just rented a Tarus the other day and it had the remote garage door opener built into it. It was pretty small too. I couldn't find any wires for power. This would a great choice to use.

          OK, I give up!

Why would a rental car have a remote garage door opener? They'd have to reprogram the thing constantly.

            sunvisors

Hey, I did a similar conversion on my 84 SVO too. I took a set of cloth 85 sunvisors that had the center clips, pulled out the mounting bracket and shaft and put in the bracket and shaft from the 84 visors and installed them in the 85 visors. So the 85 visors now had the mounting bracket and shaft of the 84. Then, I eyeballed a good place for the clips and drilled a hole for the single screw that holds the clip in place. Then I carefully cut a triangular hole in the headliner, so the clip would hold straight and tight. If I remember correctly, I was at the very edge of the sheetmetal reinforcement around the windshield when drilling that hole and I needed an extra long screw. I think the later cars must have had a provision for this clip that the 84's didn't. Anyhow, it was one of the best modifications I made to the car. I absolutely hated when I'd get on it and the visor would slam into my forehead!
