I am planning on getting a 3 gauge pillar pod for the 86 SVO and they only offer for the 87 and up cars. Are there any differences?? It's a complete pillar so there will be no cutting or the like just paint and install. Any help would be good.
Not sure if there is more than one manufacturer though. They don't replace the exising pillar, they mount over it. (wasn't sure if you understood that.)
The owner of Late model restoration supply has an SVO... and sell the item too. Call them at 1-866-50-resto and ask them to test fit it over there cars pillar. They did this for me to see what size emblems I needed for mine. And also matched up my carpet before shipping it to make sure it was the right gray. (They actually have a listing for SVO gray!)
