Just wanting to make sure before I buy. Will the five lug spindles/hub from a 96' GT fit my Bullitt Calipers? FYI....Still patiently waiting for my SVO Tubular Control Arms from D&D.

i'm in the process of proforming this swap... 1st you want 94 or 95 front spindles they will fit under a fox body with no problems. 96 and up will put the wheels too far out of the wheel well ..2nd the ball joints are different from svo to sn95 and won't work with svo ball joints you need the sn95 balljoints so if the D&D control arms have replaceable ball joints i'd ask them if a sn95 ball joint will press in or not..i don't have first hand experance with the D&D arms ..i'm useing sn95 control arms... 3rd with bullitt front brakes the smallest wheel you can use is a 17 inch because of the 13 inch rotor ..which i don't personally have a problem with but if you weren't planing on geting 17inch wheels you'd have to buy them before swaping. As for the svo struts fitting if i remember correctly the spindle is narrower on the svo then the sn95 spindle i'll have to check when i go to work tomarrow. but if any more questions just email me or what ever.1983 coupe mustang, svo driveline/interior , 3inch down pipe,22lbs of boost ,sn95 spindles ,'01 Bullitt front brakes,'97 gt split 5 spoke 17's, saleen wing, euro tails

BigNBlue,
Pungaracing is correct, you will probably want the 94-95 spindles. From what I have read the 96+ spindles add 8mm of track per side or 16mm of total front track width. This could easily cause problems with our "narrow" front fenders. Also, the steering arm of the spindle is different between the 94-95 & 96+ units. The 96+ units have an offset bend in the arm as it goes forward to the tie rod, which could cause some issues in the bump steer department.
For more detailed info, check out the RRAX-Mustang archives on Yahoo Groups. The fellas over there have talked about the difference in these spindles in length. HTH.Ted

I have done the swap, and am happy with it. I'm running '87-'88 tbird front control arms, as these are similar in length to SVO ones, and the ball joint fits the spindles. (will need washers under the castle nut though).
I had to use different struts also- the strut mount on the spindle is lower on the SN95 pieces, which will cause the strut bottom to hit the control arms. (I'm using tokico illuminas, they are ok).'86 SVO (9L) SCCA autox car, "Sneezy"
