I polished my wheels. Now I am ready to paint the inserts. Anyone know the color and would the Eastwood Company carry it.

Not sure??
I'm not sure what you mean?? the stock wheel inserts were natural alum. They appeared darker as they were not machined like the rest of the wheel. I know some guys are painting theirs white, but I'm not a big fan of that look myself. But to each their own.86' 2R Original Owner "Project Originale"; 86' 2R "Project Bolo" 84' 9W "Project Bondo"; 86 2R "Project Evil" (GONE!); 90' 5.0 LX Vert; 98 Dodge Neon ACR Track Car; 05 SRT-4 ACR! ---"Real tomato ketchup Eddie?"

I agree
Hey, we were all newbies once too. Welcome to the party.
I like Bud's idea of painting them with silver. Sort of fills in the rough texture and the clear coat seals everthing up.86' 2R Original Owner "Project Originale"; 86' 2R "Project Bolo" 84' 9W "Project Bondo"; 86 2R "Project Evil" (GONE!); 90' 5.0 LX Vert; 98 Dodge Neon ACR Track Car; 05 SRT-4 ACR! ---"Real tomato ketchup Eddie?"

The factory clear was only on the front flat surface. It did not extend into the cut out with the cast finish. What ever you do, I suggest painting the whole wheel inside and out. It makes it much easier to clean. I did my spare set with clear on the front and back.
BTW I saw one with gold cut outs which didn't look bad.84 SVO 1 owner, 02 S.Crew, 69 Mustang, 85 McLaren
