color of paint for the SVO wheels?

I polished my wheels. Now I am ready to paint the inserts. Anyone know the color and would the Eastwood Company carry it.

I'm not sure what you mean?? the stock wheel inserts were natural alum. They appeared darker as they were not machined like the rest of the wheel. I know some guys are painting theirs white, but I'm not a big fan of that look myself. But to each their own.

They look cool painted body-color too...

They're easier to keep clean if you paint the inserts. I prefer just a silver metalic with coat (or two) of clear.

Hey, we were all newbies once too. Welcome to the party.

I like Bud's idea of painting them with silver. Sort of fills in the rough texture and the clear coat seals everthing up.

The factory clear was only on the front flat surface. It did not extend into the cut out with the cast finish. What ever you do, I suggest painting the whole wheel inside and out. It makes it much easier to clean. I did my spare set with clear on the front and back.

BTW I saw one with gold cut outs which didn't look bad.

Thanks for the suggestions I am definately going to clear coat them. I will post pictures of the car when I am finished with it.
