  • ready to read your "svo projects to be finished before reunion" list

My 4th reunion and I think 3rd time to run this thread. I'm already stoked and ready for the reunion!

So any/what mods for the car(s) to do or finish before this reunion?

I like the details, make it interesting so I know what to look for on your car!

This year my car is getting the following:

Ported and polished head (and therefore hopefully a couple more psi boost - 21 or 22)
    Automotorsport Roller Cam
    Bob Log Header
    Mandrel Turbo outlet elbow
Volvo front mount to replace the TC front mount
    New Tires
    Bigger Swaybars

and a FRESH COAT OF WAX BABY!

Got to Dyno and tune in the MAF. Looking for 300 hp this year
Got to Replace something on the brakes.

        May do the 8.8 swap.

May do a little paint to the car, Or hide it with the bra again.

May work on the springs from my old parts and lower it some.

Same 5 year old tires, rebuilt block and head, new/old T5,

Got to build a tilt bed trailor to haul it on.
Call it the load and go.

Hey James I could use some help down this way.
Time to clean up the engine bay!

The 1E needs lowering springs. and I have a set of rear upper control arms to go on it also. While I'm at it, I should probably box the lowers.

the 1C needs the a cam, the rest of the engine assembled, the engine, and transmission put in, nose, rear bumper cover, painted, trim painted, and a ton of little stuff done.

I'm gonna change my rims and seats back to the "stock" ones. Then hit some autoX to freshen up my skills.

Once again I have an engine to put in. However I will be getting the tranny next week so I won't be putting the engine in a couple of weeks before the reunion. I just hope it stays together.
Vic do you hope to be SVOless soon?

I guess if you change the seats back to original then you can run the autox as "factory" and not modded:p

I plan on doing a new clutch and some rear bushings

Hey Eric, Do you still want the rear bumper cover from me? I'm planning on at least showing up in the truck and spending Sat & Sun if don't bring the 2R. I can easily bring the cover if you still want / need it by then? I might bring a few other items to try and offset the cost... just light stuff like window trim or maybe some intakes and turbos.

Well, Mine is still in the condition it was in when it missed last years reunion

So, I guess I need to:
                            Get a new turbo
Finish porting the intake and E6
                            install new Kirban AFPR
drill out broken bolt in tranny and finish installing new shifter
                            Finally get headliner in
Wash the inch of saw dust off of it from not getting it covered when I was cutting wood while remodeling the new old house (1866)
                            Air up tires and go!
If it ain't broke... Give me some time!

                              Blue car

Well, The list is long again this year.
I have the 96 SN95 spindals,C/C plates and the 13" cobra brakes and cobra lower control arms. If i can make my mine up as to what Pieces to use on which car
Dye dash pad and gauge pod and get the mouse nest out of the vents
front seats (I still have a few options to decied on)
Kinda funny I had never herd about that carpet that turns green till this past winter and of course mine is now green.
                              SDS Look out Dyno
rear lower control arms (not sure which car)
I need to get somthing off the paint hopefully clay will take it off
and if I have some extra time a roll bar seat belt svoeric idea and a custom Stainless tail pipe svorob idea.
Then there is the red car
