Come on people. Get the lead out and send your registration in. I know the price of gas has lots of you hesitant, but think about it, We're talking about the SVOCA reunion. This only happens once a year. If you stop and add everything up, time, labor and parts, all of us probably have thousands invested in our cars. What's a couple of hundred extra bucks? This is THE event to attend. besides, I don't want to win a plaque by default, I want some competition. I know this year's reunion will cost more than it has in the past, but I guarantee it will be worth every cent. Besides, by the time the 2105 reunion gets here, none of us will even remember how much it costs.

The check is in the mail. Some parts are already packed or shipped. I hope there's room left for a fresh change of clothes.
I couldn't help but notice that another California car is entered (Joe Head, 86 9L). So if we can drag our sorry butts 2400 miles, what could anyone else's sorry excuse be for not going (the dog ate your entry form?)?

Pat, I know you are driving, but this brings up a good point about packing for those taking an airplane. The weight limit now is 50 lbs. Anything over that weighs in heavier than this will cost you anywhere from $75-$150! I travel with equipment quite a bit, and 50 lbs adds up quick.Originally posted by Pat_in_L.A.

Auh, you can just wait and buy your alcohol in KY. That should shave some weight.
