  • Broken bolt

Well now I did it. I was tightening up some loose bolts under the SVO today and snapped one of the quad shock attaching bolts on the frame. I have drilled and extracted bolts before but is there a special way on these cars or the same old. It's the rear bolt of course.
I was getting noises when turning and when accelerating. Now I don't know what noises it will make. These are the days I really hate older cars..

Same old proceedure, nothing special. That bolt may be hardened, so be preparred to use a good bit to drill it out. Good luck.

That's what I figured. I have heard from a few people to go without the quad shock anyways. I don't frrl that is a good idea but who knows.

you CAN run without them, but they do help with wheel hop, and a little with rear shift.
