  • anyone seen the new 06 standard Mustang rim ?

I'm thinkin that this rim would look good on the SVO........

I do not know its deminsions, but, it appears to favor front wheel drive spacing which is good for rim to fit the SVO if im not mistaken.

        i see other rims..

but i try to meek my pics to ford rims and then to mustang rims at that.....

i have always thought that the 03 v6 rims would look good too...

i do see some OTHER brands rims that would look good but i would never go there.....

Well, my advice would be ... if you want a larger selection of wheel options to choose from to your SVO - then switch it over to a SN95 set up. That also eliminates the factory LCA and non-service ball joints.

06 Mustang wheel is butt ugly!

I'm with Bud. That thing sucks. It belongs on an SUV, not a Mustang!

The wheel in that Pic is actually a steel wheel with a "hub cap" over it. I have seen it in person. Just thought I would add my 2 cents.

I found a polished version of this wheel on ebay. It actually looked pretty good. I don't think it is a "hub cap".

                          Morganized,
Those are the new 18" wheel offered for 2006. I have heard (do not know 100% for sure) that they will only fit on the 2005/2006 Mustang. Not sure what they chnaged , if it does not fit. The 18" wheels are an $825.00 option.

buddy of mine who has an 86 2a, was tellin me that you can run the FOMOCO bullets with '05 centercaps. they are a lil deeper than the standard dust caps is why.. but your still gonna have to machine the front rotors.. haven't tried it myself, but he bestowed this lil nugget on me.

the only sticky thing is iIbeleive it has to be Ford bullits an not the a/m guys. due to the stock factory off set.. but i'm not sure if its the 05 bullet wheels or the 99-04..

I have a set of those wheels on an '06 GT project car that we are building at the shop. The new wheels are in and we are waiting on tires but I will try them on an SVO...though I doubt they fit. I also personally don't like them....look to much like a matchbox wheel...I personally don't care for them in person...but they are an 18" wheel and they are the same bolt pattern 5 on 4.5" but the offset is probably not going to work.....but when I get a chance I'll stick one on a car and test fit it....
