If you're not worried about originality, I'd seriously consider studs rather than bolts. Studs leave you some sort of stub to grab onto in case you have further problems.
I was just making a run to the local hardware store, (for another project you will probably hear about soon) and thought I would pick up some bolts if it was something I could get. Studs is an idea, but that bottom bolt, with a stud on it might be rough to get to.
I'll call charlie @ evergreen, I'm sure he can hook me up. He's been nothing but great on this to me on this entire project. He probably has the coolant fittings I need too for the turbo.
yea --Actually, I need both of them, the 90 that comes off the turbo, and the one that goes in the block.
The problem wiith the hole in the block is, it's 1/4 inch pipe threads, with a 1/2 inch barb on it.
I've already been to 2 hardware stores looking for that one, with no luck, finding something that will adapt makes it too long, and don't work out. -- which leds me back to the question -- why would ford put 1/4 inch threads on a 1/2 inch hose ??
