05 and up is definitely the way to go. Had the 01 Bullits on my SVo before the 05 offset came out. Went to the 05 and it made improvements to both the clearance as well as looks department. The early ones are actually more valueable right now as they will fit the 94-04 cars as well as non SVO foxes better. You have a wider audience for the sale that way. Plus every other car built did not come with them as from 05 on. Sell the old ones and get some newer ones, you will be glad you did.

Check under "Dazey" in my photobucket for examples of both- the earlier wheels were on the car before the paint job.

I have the same rims as yeahloh (no sn95 conversion), and the center caps worked fine on the front. Of course, I had to dremel out a good deal of material from the backside of the center cap and give the dust cap a few whacks to dent it in, but they fit on there without much complaint.

The center caps should fit from either wheel if you get creative. The center portion is the same on both rims. You can always glue them in and pop them out when it is time to balance a new tire...

The difference between the wheels from SN-95 to S-197 is the offset. The backspacing on the newer wheel is actually right on the money with the SVO where the older wheel has less backspace and sticks out of the wheelwells farther (set up for a shorter control arm) you can tell simply by looking at the outer lip- the SN-95 version has more space between the spokes and the bead portion of the rim.

Either work- the SN-95 looks more agressive due to the thicker "dish" but the S-197 fits better as far as fender clearance goes. For example- I put a set of the GT premium wheels on a stock 5.0 (sith SVO rear discs and front rotors) and had to use a 3/8 inch spacer to clear the ball joints where as the SN-95s would have bolted right on due to less backspacing.

    Good deal!

Mine is lowered, and I'm running 235/45/17's on mine without any issues.

I have 245/45's on the rear and I don't have any rubbing issues. The car is lowered about 1" in the rear.

Finally got tires on my wheels

    OK...

I am finally happy to say that I got new tires yesterday. I have the 06 Split 5 spoke GT wheels that are 17x8.

    Fronts - 225/45/17
    Rears - 255/40/17

As you can see, I think they fit pretty nicely... I have Motorsport C Springs on the front and rear of the car. I also have Hotchkis Caster Camber Plates. Everything else is stock. From the 5 minutes that I have driven it, there have been no rubbing issues.

Also, as you can see...I did an amateur paint job on the wheels. I painted the center part of the wheel a graphite metallic grey color and left the lip polished. The only issue with the wheels are that I cannot put on the front center caps. I will cut out the center of the cap, so I can at least put on the outer part...(if that makes sense).
