As for me, up at the Pony Shoppe, doing a full tune and prep for the trip. Also hoping to finish the install of something which will make the trip a little more comfortable.

What is this "substitue driver" you speak of?

I was telling the wife this afternoon that it is 2000 miles to get to the Reunion and if I drove it straight through it would take me about 28 hours at 75ish mph. Add about 2 hours for gas stops and the total would be about 30 hours!! Boy do I hope that I can make it again this year, we'll see!!

had the same thing happen last week... I think some of the store owners dont like the droping fuel prices, so their pumps aren't giving as much fuel as they used to

    Actually it was 27.659 gal.

    10/02
1945- Left Scott's place with his car in tow, about two hours later than I planned on getting there. Called Chalky to make sure he would be ready by 0700 tomorrow.
2105- Arrived at my house for a quick bite to eat & then began the loading of the truck. After 2 hours we had the last tool box mounted ready to load. By 0030 we had finally finished loading the truck & Lisa making us sandwhiches for the trip.

    10/03
0600- woke up about two hours later than we should have. After breakfast & a few confused calls from Chalky wondering why were weren't there yet we finally got out the door at 0900.
1130- Met Chris The Cranky & Ivan The Irritated at Jantzen Beach, OR.

    More to come, after breakfast...
