Thanks Ted. Mine will need a repaint at some point in the future. The current paint is single stage enamel (DuPont Centari). It's held up OK (6 years old now), but not as durable as BC/CC. Plus my car sits outside 99% of the time.

Anyway, it's good for a semi daily driver. Drove it to work this afternoon. Maiden voyage for the 2018 season. Felt good to be behind the wheel again!

So - all of my pics in this thread are working again, not sure for how long. Photobucket re-activated all of the old albums....

Also, I bought a set of new floor mats for the SVO, they just showed up yesterday.

Gotta love spring/early summer, eh?? At least it blows off with just water as long as you hit it before it rains/dews on the surface.

We had all of our pollen battles a few weeks ago before all the monsoons.

We had that fun back in March/April. The stuff even drifts in through closed garage doors!!

(Un)luckily, about then, the rains stopped, so all the blooming things died!

The weather has finally broken, though, and we've had almost an inch over the last couple of days, so we're expecting a new round of blooming things. Luckily, everything is in the shop/garage and/or under a cover.

Our pollen season in Mississippi is in March and April. Then we have to deal with dirt daubers building their muddy nests in every crack and creavace
for the rest of summer. Seems they especially like cars.

A friend had them do that in the PCV valve hose on his C6 Z06 when he had it apart doing some work to it. The shakedown cruise was an autocross event. He couldn't understand why he kept blowing the dip stick out of the tube and blowing oil all over the underside of the hood. It ran great at idle and part throttle, but blew the dipstick out at WOT in the finish lights. =8-0

They build them up in the roof vents in our shop, then, in winter, when it gets damp, they come raining down on us!

Tonight was Mustang theme night at the local cruise in. I had the only SVO in the show, go figure.

It felt 10 degrees cooler in the shade (was around 90 degrees today)

I ended up with an end parking spot by luck....

Oh, and the AC quit working about 1/2 way to the show. Was blowing nice a cold and then just stopped.
I'll put that on the list for another day to check out. Otherwise, the car ran great.

Nice pics Joe. On the AC issue, it sounds like your relay stopped working. Tap on it a few times to see if the AC kicks back on.

Nice! That's one of the reasons I want to get our 86 back together and on the road again. At local cruise-ins, we'd probably have the only SVO there, and in the Houston Autorama, again, the only SVO there, even with two different Mustang clubs showing as a group!
