If it's after Oct 1st ... just wait to register at the event.

what im 'saying is if I mail it on like th 30th your not gonna have it by the 1st. I mean i'd like to save the extra cash by pre registering, but I really won't know till right at then end of the month

I understand what you're saying, but waiting til the last minute can cause problems on both ends. I hope you can understand our reasoning behind that. If I receive your registration the first week of Oct and it's post marked prior to Oct 1st .. then we can honor it. But take into account, if you mail it prior to Oct 1st .. and I still haven't received it before leaving for the Reunion on Friday morning of the 10th .. then you're not going to be registered when you show up in KY... and telling me you mailed it in, it should be in the mailbox when I get home, etc ... will not get you in on the fun stuff.

Don't take this the wrong way, cause it's not meant to be rude, just a dose of reality. There's been plenty of time for everyone to pre-register for this event, so lack of proper planning on your part doesn't constitute an emergency/discount on our part.

I know this. I was just asking, because I dont' know if i'm going to be able to get off work till right at the end. thats the only reason for the delay. Also I didn't even think I was gonna be able to make it this year due to the car not running, but miracles happened and everything came together and I just got the car up and running last week for the first time in 6 months.

No 85's on the list? Only one 85.5? I wish I lived closer, I could fix that problem. Maybe I'll start a travel fund for mine's 20'th birthdays in 2005!

There would probably be ALOT more members buying it if you offered a "SVOCA member's only" discount *hint-hint*

    33 and counting...

That looks like 33 to me so far... What year and how many is the record? Back in 1995 here in Atlanta ( at the Atlanta Motor Speedway ) I'm pretty sure we had 45. Let's beat that one! Anybody else on the fence out there? All we need is thirteen more...

I am a little supprised that we have almost 40 registered, and only have 24 auto-x people right now--

Guys -- If you have never tried a auto-x, this is the PERFECT time!!

Rules will be laxed (on the classes and such) -- If you don't know anything about auto-x, this is a really good time to give it a try.

Of course all safety rules will be in force.

If anyone has any questions, or concerns -- let me know!!

BTW :: Everyone make sure you battery is held firmly in place -- this is about the biggest tech slipup --
