Dorman 03144 you can get them from rockauto.com or have your local auto parts order you a set:

    http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/de...4900&ppt=C0022

    The nuts are metric.

And if you go to the Dorman Products web site the threads that go into the turbo elbow are 7/16-14 which is a very odd pitch thread:

    http://www.dormanproducts.com/p-159-03144.aspx

This kit is listed as fitting both turbo and non turbo Ford 2.3s from the '80s. We have a non turbo 2.3 exhaust manifold and yes they look the same.

I think someone once told me those studs are the same as the ones that come on the GT's 5.0 shorty headers--maybe worth investigating. For those of you running the 3" downpipe, might be easier to run a bolt through the opposite way with nuts on the top side.
My wife says it's a sickness...what do you think?

The Dorman web site says they only fit the 2.3 both turbo and non-turbo applications.

I bought the stud kit and they fit the housing perfectly just like originals. The nuts that came with the kit fit on the side that screws into the housing. They did not fit on the pipe side of the studs. I had an extra set of factory nuts laying around and they fit on the new studs perfectly.
