    Exhaust manifold install help

Can someone recommend where to get a good manifold to head gasket. Also what high temp thread lock should I use for the turbo to manifold studs.

There is no gasket between the manifold and head. Felpro has the one for the turbo to manifold if that is what you mean.

If your manifold is not sealing to the head, you can use a copper gasket from SCE. http://scegaskets.com/

Normally, the turbo studs are an interference fit. I have used the thread locker referenced here with success. http://trackspeedengineering.com/pro...products_id/98

none -- the turbo can reach temps of 1600 degrees. They've yet to make any thread locker that will withstand that heat.

Make sure you use a good quality stud, with mechanical locking. I bought a 'fastener' kit from Gnari Performance, it had the proper locking nuts.

As Eric mentioned, best bet is mechanical lock for these high temp items.

Now with that said, I have found a high temp threadlocker that can supposedly handle 2100 deg F. A company called Cotronics offers the product and they specialize in high temp ceramic repair/potting products, so I would have to think they have a product that works. I have used a couple of their ceramic repair products at work and they work wonderfully, hopefully their threadlocker would perform the same. Unfortunately I don't have any kind of pricing or a source on where you could order it, but here is a link to their site:
