    E4 Spats

Anyone have any E4 spats for an 86' for sale? If not, where's a good place to get them?

E4 spats are hard to come by,
I've got 2 sets of reproduction fiberglass spats on a couple of my SVO's. They work pretty good, you just need to do a bit of work to fit them.
SVPU is the only place that has them, http://www.svpu.com

I've heard the E4 a the most sturdy and that other makes are not that good. I know my stock ones have cracks in them, and while trying to scrub some grease off of one the other day, my finger went right through it.

yeah, the reproductions are NEW, and made of fiberglass.
The stock ones are 30+ years old and made of flexible urethane. even a good set of E4's are questionable, depending on what they've been through.

    There are no 'other makes'
your choices are 30 year old urethane, or new fiberglass that will likely last longer than the originals anyway.

I ordered a set of spats from SVPU a week ago. The order confirmation says they will contact me for payment and shipping info. I haven't heard from them. Left a voicemail and sent an email and still no response. Not sure what's up with them. My passenger side spat self destructed into about 100 pieces. Drivers side is about to go also.

Keep pestering Paul. He is a very small shop and gets backed up with orders at times.

Sorry, I stay buried and currently Elbow deep in trying to wrap up the restoration of the NYPD Mustang GT for the Mustang Museum of America. Most of my business is actual restorations. I'll be trying to catch up on emails and contacting people who placed orders this afternoon.

I'm having the same issue. Ordered a set of spats over a month ago, got an email telling me to see the instructions for arranging payment (what instructions?). I made several attempts to contact by phone and email, but no response.

Apologies, I have had 4 eye surgeries since February(detached retina) and I'm essentially a one man show and my primary work is restorations in the shop. I do have record of orders placed and I have a batch of spats in production now but due to my circumstances at this time I didn't want to charge anyone for spats and have them wait after having paid...so what I've done instead of prepaying at this time like I normally do I have just had the run put into production and will be contacting everyone shortly as they arrive to get payment. I purposely don't have the shopping cart set up to take credit card info...that is just my preference as it's one step further to avoid issues if there was ever a data breach. I'm working 7 days trying to catch up after being put so far behind with the surgeries and I'm hoping to get time in the office this weekend where I can call everyone and get caught up on that end.
