    1/4 panel skins

I am looking for repair parts for my upper torque boxs and ran across C2C (classic to current) fabrications listing for 1/4 panel skins. Just for your information.

Wow, what an annoying 'banner'!! But I digress.

That skin looks like a coupe skin, not a hatchback panel. I guess they could cut it off just below the window line, but I'd be asking for more pictures before placing an order for that. Luckily, though, most repairs are below the beltline.

IIRC, I got my repair panel from LMR, but it's been so long ago, I don't remember. I DO remember they didn't need the passenger side quarter panel I provided, just the lower rear quarter panel repair panel. They DID use the whole driver's side panel i provided. Not sure on the fit of that repair panel, since most don't fit well, but I heard no big complaints on the one I provided.

It IS good to know about other sources for repair parts.

I used an aftermarket repair panel just like that on my 82 GT. While it was better than patching the damaged / rotted QP, the fitment was sub-par. The body lines are less "crisp" and more rounded as compared to original sheet metal.

This wasn't a huge deal on the 82 because the wider body side moldings cover up much of that area, but on an SVO with the thin body side moldings, it would be more obvious. Just my $0.02.
