    SVO featured on Junkyard Empire

I was watching Junkyard Empire on Velocity last night and they had an SVO they were putting an Eco-boost in it. It apparently was a car someone tried putting a Ford Fusion motor in. The yard owner said the owner didn't want to mess with it anymore and gave it to the yard. Part 1 was last night. I send them a message to see if they would or had registered it.

Yes, I watched that episode last night. Kind of exciting to see an SVO on TV! I fell asleep during the show and missed the last 10 minutes. I'll keep watching for Part II.

Well they finished the car and it looked like crap. They kept the original wheels but no center caps, both inner marker lights were not even there and they put a 83 LX interior in it. The only thing they did right IMHO was leave the bi wing on. And the he rattled off some rediculous price that was at least twice as much as any of us would have given for it.

I was very let down by his finished product. The engine would be a great upgrade in my mind. I had never seen this show before and will never watch it again.

I tried several messages to the show to see if I could get some VIN info to check and or update the registry. They don’t respond at all. Not really a show I watch and frankly the “suits” at velocity tend to just pump out product.

The outer looks like it is fogged/hazed over badly. I think the inners are missing and they just put something in place that is laid back, from what you can see. The rear lights are non-SVO 83-86 units, but look a little wanky as if the rear panel or the lenses are off a bit.
