    2018 Auto-x results and pics

Dey postin times round here ?

    Ted Schaefer 38.710
    Bruce Richards 38.941
    Dave Schmitt 39.070
    Paul Becker 39.700
    Rob Rovers(*) 40.681
    Mike Stevens 40.908
    Greg Rovers (*) 40.932
    Mark Miller 46.203

Should be noted, Bruce Richards had a run of 38.713 (3 one THOUSANDTHS behind Ted) but he got a cone on that run.
Bruce, at least you know now, if that cone hadn't fallen, you'd still have got second

Another note, Paul Becker improved nearly a full second every run. if he'd had 1 more run, he'd been knocking on Ted's door.

Rob and Greg Rovers didn't drive SVO's but we're happy to let them run with us. they had a good time, and I had a good time watching them. Especially Rob, he's probably ready for a new set of tires after that auto-x

Will be posting some pics in the next couple hours...

I am amazed I was that close to everyone with having to drift my way around the track! LOL. It was more fun that way but not very efficient. As always it was a great time!

I was getting more comfortable throwing it sideways with each run(without tagging cones) so one more might have done it....lol. But then again, Bruce could have snuck in and sniped it from everyone. It was nice having a fast course that wasn't geared toward Miatas.

That was a fun course for sure, guess my RE-71R's still have a little life left in them Not sure how much more time I could have pulled out if we had additional runs, as on that last run I was hitting my rev limiter in 2nd gear in 3 places on the course and I am sure an upshift into 3rd would have cost me time. Guess the 4:10's almost worked against me... Till next year Bruce!

I had a ball, pushed a little hard on the last run and had to tag the brake to miss the cone at the bottom of the loop. I am sure that cost me the win. I hit the rev limiter twice a lap with 373's. Track was great fun.

and even better, the only casualty on the way home was a trailer tire.

The curb was on the way up and the tire was OK, just killed the rim. On the way back was when I lost that tire....
