Interesting it doesn't have any MOTORSPORT script on it anywhere, but still marked all the way to 140. Never saw one like that.

This is a Ford Service Replacement Part and not a true Motorsports Speedometer. It is what would have been used for an 89 and older Ford product that was being repaired in a dealership. It has the D9ZF17300AA part number. It was never intended to be used on an SVO. I guess it would still work.

I bought an '86 SVO from the original owner about 7 years ago and he included extra nos parts. His friend worked at a Ford dealer in parts & service and he bought extra parts during the late 80's to early 90's in case something happened. I sold the car 4 years ago and now cleaning out the basement.

Ken is 100% correct. The FMS speedo would have a E4 part number and would have come in the display box. I sure wish I would have bought a case of these when I was working at the dealership. I think they were $99 back then.
