That 1D is a very early 86. Might even be first couple of days of production.

OP I tried to send you a PM, but I'm not sure if it went through. My brother and I are interested if they are still available.

They found a new home. Hopefully whoever it was will update us here.

Yes they did. bluesteel93 and his brother picked them up earlier this week, was waiting for the 'official' confirmation...which I just got today. The 'plan' is to get the gray one up and running again and they are still evaluating the red one. I have asked him to post updates on them.

As svono50 mentioned, my brother and I picked up both cars a couple of days ago.

We're planning on getting the 1D back up and running and clean up the interior. We should already have everything we need minus a few misc interior items. It looks like the engine's and drive-trains on both cars are in decent shape so hopefully we'll be good on that front. Obviously it'll need new paint, but it should be a nice stock example of an SVO once it's done.

On the red one it's pretty easy to tell where it was repaired from a collision on the passenger side. We will have to lift it up to check if the frame is straight and hopefully we will be able to save it too. Since its already a salvage title though, we might try to make something fun out of it... like a race car .

Either way, we're happy to have the cars and thankful they didn't end up in a junkyard somewhere!
