    Intercooler to hood seal?

I'm cleaning the intercooler to hood seal parts and hope to reattach them soon, but my old seal has really taken a beating, and even after a couple of cleanings, the rubber is still dull, discolored and a little misshapen in a couple of spots. I'm wondering if anyone has any spare rubber seals that are in decent shape they'd be willing to part with? Thanks.

Thanks, Todd. I kind of a$$umed that that part would have such limited market no one would make them. I was wrong.

They were misshapen and dull when new. The one on the Barrett-Jackson 85.5 was folded over on one corner and wouldn't rebound / permanently creased.

No problem. Just wanted to give you another source if you needed it. I just happened to be looking for one the other week. Mine has a tear in it, but I thing I have it fixed enough for now.

I have a few used ones, but might be better off going aftermarket.

Thanks, Mike. I have already ordered a reproduction unit. I’ll keep this in mind, though, depending on how the new repro looks. Thanks!

Got the repro unit. It seems a bit softer that the OEM, but I’ll give it a try. There are no holes molded into it for the mounting screws, but it looks like they were pretty much hand done on the original.
