    Power related mods for this dyno (October '04)

    LA2 & matched browntops
    Ported E6
    3 inch downpipe and exhaust
    Front Mount Turbocoupe Intercooler
    Gillis Valve set at 20 psi
    60 mm TB to "ported to match" inline intake
    Ford Motorsport Cam gear retarded 4 degree's
    190 lph fuel pump
    K&N on VAM
    Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator set at 38 (stock)

    Wow. Posting 8 years later!

    So I dyno'd on 050412 (spent the better part of the day at "Cleveland Performance Center"), tweaking the ECU w/ my laptop, us looking at things...did 12 runs each one improving things (mostly), and I hit 332 hp/347 tq...and their printer stopped printing. So, we kept a bmp and I got that...and ya can't see the numbers.

    But...332hp/347tq on 18 psi. Bo's head flows so much my t3/t4 is to small now so I'm on a waiting list for a new one and I'll crank up the boost.

    Wow! That's crankin!

    Any other changes than Bo's head from your 2004 setup?

    I believe he's using a quarter-horse now. which is just a chip that plugs into the stock computer, and lets you tweek, and log from it.

    I actually have an entirely new ECU and it's completely controllable, simple, sweet, no learning algorithims or reading spreadsheets or asking other guys for their working formula - which is def a QH delimma. I did ask on here what the guys thought of QH, but I didn't get any great response from anyone, so I went with another unit. This one - I love. It is set up specifically for MY car w/ my mods, blah blah blah. Great unit. It seriously makes me look like a genius to all but the guys also using the same- ha!

    AND in my case, since my car (I believe) is the oldest actually running & being modded SVO, my harness would not stay together. I'd fix it here and it would fall apart there... so I have a fantastic new "Ron Francis" Wiring Harness...heckuva lot better than OEM. All new connectors, and a lot of other cool improvements.

    Front mount intercooler and tubing all fabbed up specifically for our SVO's.

    80 lb hi-impedance injectors, new larger fuel lines and fuel rail.

    Bob's Log (will be replaced soon)

    T3/t4 (to be replaced as well)

    Big upper intake, Bo-port lower intake

    & Bo's head. Those would be the key ingredients...and this and other SVO boards. I couldn't have done it without the real brains in the SVO world. Seriously, mo' powah is coming tho. All the ingredients are together & working perfectly, and now I need more air.

    I was in (almost the) same power range beforehand w/ my former 25 lbs of boost from the same turbo & (my own porting) head, an LA ECU and browntops. This is the next step up, but lowest rung on the new ladder.
