  • Door Data Tag Stickers

As many of us are in process, or have recently repainted, or changed doors due to accident / rust on their SVO's, how many need the door data tag sticker? I have been in contact with Marti Autoworks about price and availability. They currently have only one style of sticker. One style has "tape" and the other has "AC" showing along the bottom line. The only one he has a template / pattern for is the one with "Tape". I have checked my 1B and of course it has the "AC" but I can't check my others till after Jan 1st. They need all the info to reproduce the tag and can't pull it by the VIN alone. The price he quoted me is $42 each with a 2 week delivery. I think if there are enough people who need the tag with the "AC" maybe we can get them to produce it as well.

I would be interested in a door tag. I could salvage the door, maybe. And this was the plan till this thread. If I could get a replica door tag, I’ll put a new one on.

Would it be easiest to send you a pic of mine to have one made? Let me know.
        Thanks.

          door data sticker

Ken, it is my understanding that the 84 and 85 (this would include 85 1/2)SVO's received the "AC" style and the 86 received the "TAPE" style. This is true for all Mustangs of those years. The 86 style has an E5EB part number on the decal while I believe the earlier version is an E3EB number. I have not seen his decal, does it have the correct part number on it?

I'd be intrested in one for the 84 and the 85.5.

If Martini needs a template, I can draw some up from the stickers on my cars and supply it in what ever editable format is needed (eps, illustrator, freehand, indesign, ect...)
