  • SN95 swap sanity check

Ok, I think I've got all the parts needed for my SN95 front suspension swap. I just need someone to double check me here:

SN95 Front Control Arms (new bushings)
    SN95 spindles
    94 rotors
    94 calipers
    Brake Pads
Maximum Motorsport Fox body to SN95 SS brake lines
    87-93 Koni Shocks
    Kenny Brown CC plates
    Energy Suspension spring isolaters

I will be re-using my Eibach springs

Do I need caliper brackets? That is about the only thing I can think of.

Where did you get the calipers? Sometimes the rebuilt ones come with them. But otherwise it looks like you got everything. Are you keeping the stock rear calipers? When I did the swap on mine the brakes didn't feel as good as I thought they should. I however had the 11" twin piston calipers.

The calipers are re-man from local parts store. These are just single piston stock replacements. I didn't get any brackets with the calipers. I just don't know enough about the SN95 front brakes to know if I'm missing something or not.

I don't plan on doing the rear until I can afford the Baer kit I want for those. I may be putting a new rear in there in the future anyways, so I want to hold off until I get my plans figured out.

I really couldnt see in the caliper box...i'm going to say YES your GOING TO NEED the calper bracket that goes on the spindal.
        -RICH-
ps BEFORE you get started check your brake lines to see if they are the same size,"where they connect to the stock hard lines" because i order stock Cobra brakehoses and its only the Driverside size that fits the SVO. in my case 84....May the boost Gods smile apond you

Thanks Rich - kinda what I was figuring as well. No other parts came with the calipers.

Should be good on this part. I talked to the guys at Maximum Motorsports and told them what I was doing. I've got a few adapters as well should I run into any problem. Thanks for the "head's-up" though as I remember talking to you about this last week.

How dare you post a pic like that!!! Looking good bro!

I just used stainless lines that were SVO specific. Seemed to work out just fine.
