online registration and member renewal

While I do understand that it isn't easy to get set up for accepting payment online, there are great ways, such as using paypal to automate the process and even dump the funds directly into the club's specific bank account. I do know that is one of the reasons that I to this point haven't joined. However, my enrolment form is now in the mail with a check, as this really is the greatest club that I have found on the internet or elsewhere for the SVO. I really do love the site and have used most of your vendors in finally getting back to rebuilding my own early 84 SVO.

Ward - welcome to the board/club. It has been brought up before, but I doubt you will see on-line registration/renewal any time soon. BOD have elected to have us make the effort to show that we truely do want to be a part of this club compared with those who "think" they're members even though they haven't done anything to support the club or sent in their membership.

Now - get your car ready and bring it out to Carlisle and the reunion!

Mr. Pink is right. we have the ability to setup on-line membership payment, but there are several reasons we don't.

I think we would have more members if we had a online membership system, but we've never been about seeing how many members we could have. The board of Directors have had this conversation before, and the conclusion was-- we'd rather have 100 members that are true enthusiasts, than 500 members that joined just to get the discounts.

A true enthusiast will spend the time to fill out the membership form, with personal notes about their car, and info.
