Going to the stage 2 set-up: should the 6 pp bolts be replaced at this time?
Also am modifying the engine and expect higher RPM's.
Have not yet located anyone who sells upgraded or stock bolts. What strength is noted on the bolts?

With shipping total charge was close to $20. Bolts were $8.75. How come UPS so dang high? Hear stories all the time how companies make up low profits by inflating shipping. If I had send those I am positive First Class or Priority would not have been more that $2.

My bolts are 5/16"-18 for the aluminum flywheel. I bought Stainless Alen type bolts with lock washers. Not installed yet.

That's funny cause that was what Spec sent to me to begin with, just in the wrong size.
And just a couple days ago you said grade 5 was fine. Now it's not good enough. Make your mind up would ya! lol. Dementia is setting in I think.

It's in shear anyway and not much of that. Hell I bet I can glue it in and it would be fine. Y'all are over thinkers.

                  So you've just noticed that?

Then the aluminum bellhousing gets dents in it while you quickly pull your feet up under the seat.
The floorboard/driveshaft tunnel gets dents or holes in it. The aluminum bellhousing just shatters into pieces, and it sounds like broken glass over the engine noise. You don't have the luxury of time to pull your feet up. My ankle got hit by an input shaft one time.
