I have tubular with poly frame end on top and rubber in the axel. The bottom is tubular with spherical bearing on the body and poly on the axel. If I was to do it again I would get the adjustable spring perch lowers. If you are talking really racing then the options get more complex and more expensive!

I am using a set like the M&M lowers. They have no spring perch and the bearing is a little beefier than the M&M. No uppers, M&M coil overs and Torque arm

Maximum Motorsports heavy duty lowers with adjustable spring perches and Baseline Pro Street uppers. I need to change my lowers to a set with spherical bushings on both ends because I've heard of the polyurethane bushings splitting when used in drag racing applications. My suspension is drag biased, I don't think the relocated uppers are the best setup for the curves.

Stock lowers with poly bushings at both ends and stock uppers with stock rubber in the frame end and poly in the axle.

I had boxed stock uppers with poly in the frame end as well. They worked good for drag racing, but they gave some serious snap oversteer. I swapped ends on my car at least twice going around corners at pretty reasonable speeds too. Both times I hit a small asphalt expansion crack and that little bump was enough to send me spinning. Luckily I didn't hit anything either time, but I did scare the snot out of various onlookers/traffic. This is what prompted putting in the stock uppers w/rubber bushings and I haven't had any snap oversteer since.

i love the poly/heim combo in the rear U/LCAs, completely removed the oversteer on exit power application issue. road noise was increased quite a bit, but im not DDing this car, so its all good. elederbrock uppers, Granatellni the bottom. (complete knockoffs of the mmrlca-2s) only issue i have is you have to re-grease em every 6 months. i think you'll like them quite a bit.
