When I did the clutch a couple years ago, the retainer didn't look all that good. Now recently, the cluch is very hard to press (and have broken the clutch cable again) and I'm positive the retainer has gotten worse. Called Hanlon and D&D, they both told me I was SOL, even though they get the exact same call about once a month.
Guess I could go with a V8 T5, but I really don't want to junk a good transmission only because I couldn't get a retainer for it.
Anybody know of anyone making 'one offs' or a supply of NOS units? Thanks.
