I have a 85 SVO Ford Red with the same wheels. I have the 235/55 17 which make the car handle like a truck. I can't wait to wear these tires out. Those look good. How's the handling?

The handling is great with the 40's & 45's. feels like a go kart.

Anyone have pics with the silver 06+ Bullits or the 18" Fan Blade wheels?

        Thanks,

Can anyone tell me if 08 mustang GT bullet wheels will fit my svo? They are 17x8 with 235-55 ZR17 tires on them. I got a guy selling some locally with less than 1000 miles on the wheels and tires for $465.

Do a search. They'll fit but it won't look good with those tires.

I did do a search, and this thread came up I was wondering if the tires would hit or not with them being a bit bigger than what most guys run on their wheels..

I can't speak as to whether or not it will rub anywhere but I've seen pictures and it will look like a 4x4. You really need 40 or 45 series with those rims.

I got a set of those in a trade and they fit on the back, but I think they are going to scrub bad on the front, It threw the speedo off about 20% slow! I got so little in them, I'm gonna take the tires off and get some 235/45/17's real soon!

                    • Couple of pics, it looks real good, can't wait for the rears to wear out so I can get something shorter. Please excuse the dirty car, it rained like 6 inches here yesterday!

                        • Love that combination on the black cars. BTW, is that a Steeda wing on the back?
My wife says it's a sickness...what do you think?

No, it is a GT wing off an 84, my bi plane wing isn't in very good shape, and found this to use until I get a good one.

                            • Ok, got a set of GT wheel s that just got pulled off an 09 (I believe) new tires that look GREAT on the back, still has the little rubber moulding tips/whatever on them, but they rub the inner front fender on sharp turns..at the moment they are the 235/55/zr17's here, clear the IRS with no issues. But the front..has got to go, I'm a bit slow on tire sizeing, what should I be looking for ideally?

                              • Probably if you keep the same width but drop down to a 40 or 45 series tire it will solve some of that rub. If it doesnt than you could always get new steering limiters. The only problem then is you cant make as sharp a turn.
