Anyone have a picture of a 2A with American Muscle 5-spoke Anthracites? I'm thinking of 17x8 with 245/40s in place of the stock 225/50 16s on it now. I'll keep the stock wheels and tires for shows. Any suggestions on fitment? Car is not yet lowered.

Yeah Chuck...which wheels are you considering? I can't tell from their website which 5-spoke you're talking about.
Word of warning, expect offset issues. You may not have issues on the rear, but the fronts will have issues if you have stock SVO suspension. Do a search as there are MULTIPLE threads discussing different wheels and fitment. You'll find better offsets on the 2005-2010 wheels as compared to the 1994-2004.Last edited by Mr. Pink; 06-17-2010, 07:12 AM.

I'm just considering wheels at the moment. As far as rolling the fenders or anything else, I'm just looking for enlightenment at this point. I like the way the wheels look and I have since the 60's when I first saw them. I'd like to make sure that they'll go on the car, though, before I ditch the stock wheels. New or used from a production model and year is OK also.<-Find the car; women: 0.001 secs, men: 2.4 mins.

Expect to roll the rear quarters and front fenders at a minimum. If you're going to stay with stock SVO suspension up front, then the wheels probably will not clear the hubs...so you'll have to machine the wheels or change out some suspension components. A lot of folks use SN95 stuff up front to broaden their options for wheels.
