Nice looking product to eliminate the timing cover and have a tool in place for setting the timing.
It is adjustable so you can compensate if the scale is off when you are at TDC.
I'm considering this myself but was wondering if someone gets one, can they check it with a dial gauge for accuracy? The one I got from MD was off by 3 degree's. Not a problem since i knew it but would like to know if this is more accurate.

You can't see it in the pictures, but the scale is notched with set screws that allow for adjustment. Sort of like your alternator bracket.
It is supposedly preset so it should work right out of the wrapper.

I plan to check it. It may be a few weeks before it goes on but I'll check.
You should be thinking flywheel trigger. Much more accuracy. A mill, a rotary table and a little math ...
I haven't seen one setup up yet with the flywheel trigger. What kind of signal does a cps sensor put out? Anything close to the crank sensor in output?
I saw this over on FEP. Someone post some more pics please.....
Nothing special, it is on the 88 using the universal MSD crank trigger wheel. I'm going to work with that before I play with the balancer. The crank trigger is required for the FAST set up.

It depends on which sensor you use. I gave Meotchh a squarewave CMPS sensor to play with like the one seen on Huber's car at the 2008 Reunion. It starts out with the hall effect parabolic sine wave but has a signal conditioner made of a transistor, capacitor, and dried powdered squirrel tongue that changes it to square wave. I can bring one to Knotts for you.
