Hi folks. Just to clear things up...

Currently the strut bars are a "Paid Members Only" special deal. The original manufacturer's style sold for $139.95 plus shipping. They will be quite a bit less than that but I have to get the paid members all taken care of first before I can offer them to everyone who visits here. They will be available within a few weeks.

How does it attach?

Are there bolts coming thur from the fender well? It's hard to tell from the pics.

Questions on Strut brace?

Yeah there are. Two on the passenger side and one on the drivers side. A total of there holes must be drilled to install the bar. You must remove the Vam and air box to get the holes drilled for the support bar on the passenger side. The total time checking twice and again would be about 2 hours! Really a good bolt on product that you will notice in track racing which from what you have posted you do alot of! Give Pat or NYEric a holler?My 2 cents worth! Jeff Dunevant

fits like a dream

I think my brace (original JBA) was out too long. to get mine in I had to jack the car up by the K member. Then it fit just snug otherwise it was too tight to fit into the original holes without a hammer. If my header shows up soon I might be able to drive my car before the first snow. Thanks again pat.

Got any pics from inside the fenders? I'm having trouble picturing how it mounts.
I assume there is a reason that you could only use 1 bolt on the pass. side? Obviuosly, the twisting resistance would be better with at least 2 on each side.

(No I don't. It would just show a 7/16 bolt and a 3/8 on the passenger side and one 7/16 bolt on the driver side)

(There are 2 mounting locations on the passenger side)

(What's not so obvious is the 2.35 inches of flat surface area that is clamped tightly by the two 7/16 bolts. This item was made to fit pre-existing mounting locations on Eric's car that is on the opposite side of the country, to replace a previous item which was no longer available. Consider a three-legged stool compared with a four-legged chair when resting on an uneven surface. One of them is going to rock a bit.)

This matches the brace holes exactly as it was with my now discontined JBA brace. Could this brace have been made with 4 points (yea probably) But that is not the way it was originally made(weither right ot wrong).

I know it will solve the flex I have on my towers just due to the fact that I had to jack my car up by the Kmember to get it to fit .
