I am looking for the font (or one real close to it) that was used for the *decals* on the 84 SVO. Not looking for the font used on the plastic emblems. Someone out there knows what it is. Thanks!

A friend of mine works for an ad agency that does alot of Ford/Lincoln/Mercury car dealer brochures and other stuff. I ask him this very question once. After some digging, he told me it was a custom made/altered font. Back then all the layouts were done by hand so there is no computer version.
Best advise is to find someone good in Adobe Illustrator and have them trace the letters. Or you could get a realy clean black and white scan of the letters and convert them to vector art thru Streamline. Depending on what you want to do, you may not need something super precise.
