  • where do uyou get balljoint dust covers?

Wow not much more to write on that one lol! I've checked at parts stores and they all carry universal ones based on the size of the baljoint, is that what I should get? Or should I see if a ford dealer has them? Thanks! -Mark

You can get a set of replacements from either of our two SVO supporters, Jim Wehlan at Motion Dynamics, or Paul Becker at SVPU. They are about $6 for the pair (at least I think it is for a pair). Their web sites are below:

    Motion Dynamics: http://home.flash.net/~jewhelan/prod03.htm

    SVPU: http://www.svpu.com/

I have dealt with both companies and have been given nothing but EXCELLENT service from both.

As you have seen, these are actually for another application, but fit the SVO LCAs nicely.

      I can second that.

I got a set from motion dynamics, but either of these vendors should be able to help you out.

I carry the ball joint covers that work with the SVO ball joint...they are polyurethane and won't deteriorate like rubber ones. Just give me a call at 205-629-3126 or visit www.svpu.com.

....and thanks for the kind words Gene!

Whats the installation procedure for those boots? Do they slide over or do you have to press it out. I have an extra lower right control arm with a torn cover but the ball joint is good. Great info and good questions...love the boards....
