I picked up this 84 silver SVO in Dec. A Christmas Present to myself. I already had the
engine built and in a TC. So I completely stripped the car and had it painted 99 mustang
denim blue. I also did a lot of engine mods at this time, big turbo,header and the delta
gate. I am still doing the tuning part but it really runs awesome now. One more trip to
the dyno and I will have the big numbers I have been looking for.
Drivetrain Modifications:
Serpentine belt system from a Turbo Coupe
Knife edged and hardened rod journals reground for Chevy 6cyl. rods
Eagle 5.7" connecting rods with ARP bolts and main studs
Arias .030" over forged pistons with heavy walled wrist pins
Ported and polished head with big valves, Norris valve springs
Crane titanium retainers and keepers, ARP head studs
Lunati Cam .500 intake lift, .460 exhaust lift, 274, 278 duration
TC Intake matched to head

Turbonetics T/3 - T/4 hybrid with ceramic center section
Turbonetics adjustable Delta Gate
Mandrel bent 3" downpipe directly off the delta gate
Big SVO Spearco Intercooler
MSD 6AL, Boost timing retard, MSD 8mm wires
R C Lucas 52lb. injectors, Paxton adjustable regulator
255 LPH fuel pump
