Timed out?

I get asked for my user name/PW about every 5 minutes or less, is this the standard time out? Can I adjust it to stay up longer?

you probably need to check your security settings in your browser so the cookie for this site is not blocked.(cookie holds your login info) If it's blocked it will ask you for that stuff every time you refresh a page.. once the cookie is accepted you won't have to do it.

Thanks Brian, I'll check that. I get on several other Mustang forums with no problem of a fast time out. In fact, they rarely bump me off asking for user name/PW.

you can just add this site to the accepted list..assuming you use IE. it's on the privacy tab under options.

the site will time you out if you're idle for 900 seconds.

to avoid this, you can click the 'remember me' box when signing in. you willhave to clear your cookies every now and then - which is something you should be doing anyway.

Thanks SVO Bud, that's 15 minutes, seems like I get bumped in about 5 minutes. I do clear cookies often.

also check your time on the computer. if the client clock is skewed, it tends to do strange stuff to cookie timeouts.
