i like the forum setup. in the for sale section i have a question though. you have the following rules...

-Posts for cars that are not Ford 2.3 turbo, or related will be removed.

would this this include turbo coupe, 2.3 GTs, and merkurs? or should it be limited more towards svos?

also, will it be possible to check privite messages from the techboard? will the chat room be linked to the techboard also?

Yes, we have always allowed other 2.3 turbo cars, and parts on our classifieds. I believe the line is if it don't fit a SVO, dont post it here. Since a lot of TC, and Merkur parts also work on SVO's we think SVO enthusiast would be interested in them.

The 5.0 stuff is what we aren't interested in having here. There are so many thousand 5.0 sites, they shouldn't need ours to sell their stuff.

We are working to update the chat program as well, and I hope to be able to intigtate it with this new forum. We are working on that now, and hope to have that available soon.

The link to the main page is at the bottom of the page....

But you are the second person to ask that, so we may need to add a link at the top.

I am in the process of adding about 50 new avatars (pics you can use on the left side of your post). Let me get them added, an dI'll see what I can do about adding a link back to the main page at the top of the forum.

Got lost in Registration

WEll I have finally made it here, but it was a struggle. No changes have been made in my browser or the setup of my AOL. It appears to me that the blockage was an internal aspect of the security system that you have applied. I do appreciate the help. Ralph

Ralph, that is because Eric forced your registration through. AOL is notorious for their problems regarding their parental control systems and other things they have in place. You didn't have to change anything because we circumvented the AOL issues and made it work for you......Glad you are here...

Love the new forum guys!!!! This site has been on my favorites list for quite sometime but havent visited since the onset of the forum. This could be a bad thing however..... My wife may divorce me because I am addicted to it. I will now be joining svoca soon and I encourage others to do the same. Information on these magnificent cars is hard to come by and with this new forum we can now share tech on what works and does not work.

We are going to do our best to keep this as friendly a board as possible. There are some people that may not like the way that we we "ride herd" over it, but we want any of the members to have someplace to come and ask questions no matter how simple and not be berated for not knowing simple answers.

We have members from 73 years young on down and we are going to keep this place comfortable for them to come to. We are also going to try to keep the information as accurate as possible.

Also we are going to try our best to keep people out that try to take advantage of our members.
