  • Vin info on your car

Some Members seem to be having problems finding info on their vins.

    go to the newsletter area
    www.svoca.com/newsletter

and log in. (if you lost, or don't have the password, use the forgot password link at the bottom of the page)

On the left side of the newsletter page, there is a link that says YOUR VIN INFO

click that, put in your vin, and it will give you several details about your SVO.

IF you see a pic with a red-x, then you need to send me a pic of your car, cause I don't have one of that year/model.

    Thanks

Thanks Eric, guess I need to explore the site a little better. I somehow missed this all together. Still would like to see more of the detailed production info though, like how many sunroofs, leather, ect were made that day. Good job!

Raven, The database we have don't have all that info. I am working on trying to obtain another database that does have more info in it, but I havn't had any luck with that yet.

We've had this conversation, Deja vu. Do you have the story on why thrdgen shut down. I have been trying to find out but have not had alot of success yet. I have heard stories that it was stolen from Ford, that he shut down from threatening lawsuits from Ford and that it just wasn't profitable.

I was just checking out the My Vin Info and pulled my car up and it had a photo of a car and I had never submitted one.

Is this just a generic one that is used?

The main SVOCOA page says your forum user name and password are the same for that page, but mine does not work. Trying to look up info in the registry on my car.

You need to be a club member to view the registry.

What is involved in being a member?

I just want to know the information when my SVO was registered in the early 90s before I got it.

Thanks, but since I'm selling my SVO, no sense in joining.
