Monte Carlo Bar(If suspension is the wrong place please move this post)
I was given a Monte Carlo Bar for a 5.0 I would like to put on my SVO. Of course it doesn't fit because of the valve cover. It is my hope someone on here has one and can post a pic of it installed so I can see how to modify mine such it looks like any other that you would have bought and installed.
One thing of note is that the strut tower mounts extend the bar forward in the engine compartment probably 6" from where most V8 STBs are on a Fox body.
Thanks, that is exactly what I needed. I can modify it so it goes over the cam cover like this picture, I've not yet decided about the intercooler so I may have to mod the rear braces also if I leave the stock intercooler.
Do you have any good suggetions on under hood wiring? A lot of mine is hard and brittle and coming apart in places. I talked ot Kendal Coker and he said I would likely have to cut back to the connectors and just splice in new wire. If I can find out what Mustangs are the same or at least close I might be able to get something to work with from the Pull-a-Part.
