  • Fuel selector switch

When you disconnect the stock boost controller and add the Gillis adj valve should the fuel selector switch still work? I ask because my switch now does nothing after adding the adj boost controller. The switch lights up, but does not limit the boost.

You've bypassed the stock boost controller so the switch won't do anything to control boost. I imagine that is is still restricting timing advance though.

That’s what I thought about the boost, but as far as the timing, it pulls the same regardless of the switch position. Seems like if it was pulling timing it should feel different. Not a big deal, just wondering. The turbo 4 is a new animal for me.

I think the timing difference between Reg & Prem is something like 3 deg on the total timing advance, along with the boost change from what I remember hearing over the years. The timing is still active with the boost controller removed, so far as I know. Feeling the difference may be a tough task, since it is pretty minimal.
