Hopefully that can happen this weekend, depending on how many more 100+-degree temps we get this week.

It's just a 90-deg elbow hose anyway. I should stop trying to be so fancy with this car.85.5 1E in the house.

Was out in the shop enjoying some of this cold weather while I organized the workbench a bit and cleared some space on it. I took a quick peak under the SVO, just to make sure that leak is fixed to find a nice BIG puddle of coolant under the front of the engine. That offing hose is STILL leaking!!!! I'm done with that crap! I've already sucked a gallon of the coolant out of the car, now to order that hose. I swear, the only rust on this car now is on the t-stat housing!!!
Might anyone have a P/N for the 90-deg hose that comes off the thermostat housing? The local parts house is showing a Motorcraftt KM640, but it shows having a 3/4" ID on one end and 5/8" at the other. Is that right???
Oh, and while checking my stash of hoses for a replacement, I discovered that the whiz-bang full-wrap hose clamps I got for it came from Pegasus. They simply don't work.Gene Beaird,
