I've installed the Gnari manifold with the external waste gate running a modified (stock) intercooler and have been happy with the results. I did this setup with a T3/T4 .50/.63 using the Gnari 4-bolt downpipe with a 4-bolt GT style hot side on the turbo. Everything fits together and lines up as it should. Other than needing a lower profile bolt for one of the mounts to clear the external gate, all the hardware included with the kit works fine. Here's a few takeaways....
- There is no need for a gasket between the header and the head...instead you just use old school copper coat sprayed liberally and evenly to the manifold's mounting surfaces prior to assembly.
- The manifold seems to flow better than the ported E6 that was on the car prior (butt dyno)
- The manifold does move the turbo about 1/2 an inch away from the engine...the stock oil lines reach just fine but may require a little tweaking. The intercooler fitment requires grinding the inlet of the intercooler shorter if you want to use the stock intercooler or T-bird intercooler and a T3/T4...otherwise it sticks up too high and you can't shut the hood.
- The external waste gate included in the kit has a 6 lbs. spring...which means you'll have to run and external boost controller or Gillis valve to get the boost up to even stock levels with this setup. Also the 6 lbs. spring makes the waste gate so sensitive that it makes the boost feel really laggy...its not...just too sensitive and comes open too easily. Going with a stronger spring in the waste gate solves it. That said, keeping the stock throttle body, intercooler and turbo with internal waste gate likely will negate any improvements from adding this manifold. Go big or stay stock, IMO

Looks like a decent piece from your pics, thanx for sharing! Let us know how well it fits up and if you have any issues with it once you are up and running. Interesting place for the wastegate location, as it would likely require some routing changes for the turbo's oil and coolant lines...but at least you have an option for an external unit.
