I think this question has been asked before, so do some searching. Not intimately-familiar with the guts of an 84, but I think you'll basically need everything head of the core support to do it right. I'm betting that the header panel and front fascia/bumper cover will need to be changed, and those parts, AFAIK, are NLA available OEM or aftermarket. SVOPaul used to sell the header panel, so he'll know for sure if there's a difference between the 84 and flush headlight models. Then, there's the corner lights and turn signal lights, one of which was never reproduced.

You'll need the aero headlights, the headlight seals, retaining clips and headlight adjuster plates. You also need the 9007 headlight bulb pig tails. One hole will need to be drilled on either side of the headlight panel for the headlight adjuster plates. Wire it up, new bulbs and the other mentioned parts and you'll be good to go. I've done a couple of the conversions over the years.PETRO EXPRESS=CITGO=BOYCOTT / Illinois - Taxation w/o Representation!

Actually, headlight adjuster plates that sit behind the headlights. If you're changing to 85-86 headlights, you may need them. Not sure if plastic units are available. He has ones in natural aluminum finish, and black powder-coating. Here is a link to the powder-coated ones:
A SVPU exclusively produced product, We decided to try out a set with a black powder coating for the guys who may want to resemble the factory look and not the bling of the aluminum, at a glance these look factory. The original plastic adjuster plates are prone to cracking, especially when you try to turn the adjusting screw that hasn't moved in years. Reproducing these in plastic would just be making the same part that would be problematic down the road..So we designed a better product, yes it's over the top being done in Aluminum but it will NEVER wear out, are VERY cool looking and adjusting is easy. These are proudly made in the USA!! These are even more limited than the bare aluminum ones, if the demand is there we can have more available like this. If this shows out of stock and you want a set just message us, we can have one of the bare sets powder coated for you.Gene Beaird,
