Hello from Minnesota. Many years ago, I had an '84 SVO. I loved that car. It was fun. Unfortunately, I had to sell it to buy a house. Now, I am shopping for another SVO. I've read that there are some SVO mechanical parts that are difficult to find. Can anyone tell me what is difficult to find? I've heard that lower control arms and ball joints are impossible, but an SN95 conversion is possible. Any feedback you can give would be appreciated. Thanks, Ed

The front bumper cover and reinforcing panels are no longer available. Daniel Carpenter was supposed to make a production run in the near future.
The PS outer marker is not available, but all other lights are available in reproduction.
There are alternatives to the front LCAs and you can find info here: https://lmr.com/products/svo-ball-jo...cement-options
This is also an alternative: https://www.rareparts.com/RP18250A-18250-CONTROL-ARM-W-BALL-JOINT-MUST-HAVE-CORE-TO-REMAN?quantity=1&custcol_rp_part_location=FRONT%25 20RIGHT%2520LOWER&custcol_rp_part_application=3548 237&custcol_rp_vehicle=1986-Ford-Mustang
Good luck on your search.Mike S

Welcome back into the SVO fray! Main items noted by GAboy, rear calipers are another item that have disappeared from the aftermarket, so rebuilds are your option there as well. Most other items seem to out there, but there are likely some other smaller items. The 84's are notorious for disintegrating wire insulation, so keep that in mind as well. Hope you find a good one.Ted
